EVGO is one of the largest loading networks at Nationwide EV, and the company has announced that it has changed service. It now offers new national plan options, a loyalty program and a new California pricing pilot. Changes made to the EVGO announcement include a KWH and a California use time pricing pilot.
The charge network also revealed a location-based pricing for clients using the billing network in San Francisco or Los Angeles. A more improved EVGO subscription will come into effect at the national level next month. The use of California will see a tiny rate switch at KWH rates based on three use time windows.
The use time windows comprise 12:00 to 8 hours from the beginning of the bird, from 16h to 21h to 21h and height windows from 8h to 16h and from 9h to 12h. EVGO PLUS promises higher discount rates and other benefits for heavy network users. The EVGO Rewards program is also developing nationally, with all active clients enrolled in the program.
As part of the program, users earn five points for each dollar dedicated to the load of sessions, with other possibilities to earn points to free load sessions. The billing network indicates its modifications to how users pay for charging allow them to pay for the electricity they use at a rate reflecting costs at this location, local utility rates, network congestion and the time of day.
EVGO says that if the initial deployment occurs in California, the trial will help innovate for prices in other markets. Currently, EVGO has electric chargers in more than 800 locations in the United States. Chargers range from 50 kW to 350 kW charging stations. EVGO currently has more than 2000 chargers in the active stages of genius and construction.
