M1X Mac Mini with added ports might be coming this Fall

The Mac Mini is perhaps one of the forgotten heroes of the Mac family. In spite of or maybe due to its small footprint, many owners have used the small box so that Apple probably did not initially designed it. Being one of the first to benefit from Apple’s most powerful M1 silicone only served to raise its profile as a multimedia horse, a reputation that Apple could be built with a new high-end Mac mini coming in the coming months .

The Mac Mini can not beat MacBooks in terms of portability or Mac Pros in terms of power. However, what it offers, is a sweet point between the two, in the form of a small light box that has served as multimedia servers and software development computers for a good number of Apple customers. It is not surprising, then, that Apple chose it to be the development kit for its first processor.

Fast progress of almost a year later, Apple is apparently ready to update the min min mini to meet the growing needs of that market. According to Bloomberg Mark Gurman, he approaches a new Mac Mini, this fall to stop as the high-end option of his line. That trait will come mainly through a new Apple M1X processor that will also feed the next MacBook Pro update.

The Mex Mac mini supposedly also sport some new ports to accommodate more peripherals. One of those ports includes a magnetic energy port similar to what the new 24-inch iMac has. There will also be a slight redesign, according to the sources, with the use of the plexiglassic material as the upper plate of the box.

Given these last rumors, it seems that Apple has a few exciting months ahead. Along with the M1X MacMini and MacBook Pros, the company is also expected to debute to an iPad mini in autumn completely redesigned. And, of course, there is also the iPhone 13 and the Apple Watch 7 series, as expected each year as a clock.
