A few years after making Messenger Mandiri products, Facebook is testing the return of video calls and sounds in its main application, according to the company. This test is only available for some Facebook cellular users, potentially encouraging them to utilize the social media platform as their main way to chat with their friends outside posting messages.
The details came from Bloomberg, who reported that some people located in certain markets such as the US would be able to access new features starting today. There is no guarantee that Facebook will make these two features – both are available in a messenger offer – Regular in the main application.
According to the Director of Messenger Product Management Facebook Connor Hayes, who told Bloomberg that Facebook saw Messenger as a service than the current independent product. The integration of these features back to the main Facebook platform will eliminate the need to switch between two different and commonly used Facebook applications.
It is not clear how many Facebook users will get access to features and how new tools will be integrated into the main application for these people. Screen screens and new ability reports will no doubt appear online in the near future because people find tools.
Do consumers want two products that will be integrated is another problem. By making Messenger Mandiri products, many people who are not interested in Facebook accounts they can download the Mandiri Messaging application and use it without the main Facebook application installed on their devices.
