The Spectrum Charter guests have found themselves unable to download the Spectrum TV application from roku chain store if they did not do it before returning to December. The two companies have not been able to reach an agreement on the renewal of their contract and have led roku to withdraw the application of its store to prevent new downloads. Now, it looks like they were finally able to hammer a case that works for both, because the Spectrum TV application is back on the Roku chain store. All customers must do to access its live and on-demand content connect with their high-speed account references to charter.
Back When the application was taken from the store, Spectrum said Roku did not accept his offer to renew his contract “despite the best efforts”. The company then told its customers that they can still access the application through their phones and tablets, as well as on Samsung TV, Apple TV and Xbox. A spokesman for Roku said in a statement, however, that they “worked together to achieve a positive and mutually beneficial distribution agreement.”
Companies did not reveal the details of the new transaction, but what is important is that subscribers can now download the Spectrum TV application after eight months. They sent an email to customers with the note: “We are delighted to share with you that Roku and Charter Communications renewed our agreement to distribute the spectrum television channel on your Roku device.”
Guests can find available channels through the application on the Spectrum website. The list includes Bravo, CNN, CNBC, Fox, NFL, Syfy, Natgeo and HBO Max, although accessibility depends on their subscription.
