Fast acceleration is one thing that has the similarity of all electric cars. Both the Tesla 3 model produced McLaren F1, Rimac Neverna with 2,000 horsepower, or Porsche Taycan launched a family of four with luggage for up to sixty in three seconds, most EVs were very fast.
And without teeth change (Porsche Taycan is excluded on the technical), the way electric cars fired any lines that were powered by internal combustion.
Also helping here is how electric motors can provide maximum torque from zero rpm, instead of the delivery building as revs up. Throw all-wheel-drive and traction that helps heavy batteries, and electric cars are the fastest for sale today.
Here are ten fast-accelerated electric cars available today.
Rimac Nevera.
0-60mph: 1.85 seconds
One newer child in the block, Neverna is the Ready-Ready version of the Rimac C_TWO concept that we first saw in 2018.
With 1,900 horsepower at the disposal and the 120kWh battery is shaped between and behind the driver and passenger, Neverna can reach 60mph in claimed 1.85 seconds.
Croatian Hypercar is also the current holder of the product quarter mile record, at 8.58 seconds and reaches 167mph in the process. Tesla says the model boxes have a quarter mile of 9.23 seconds.
Automobili Pininfarina Battista.
0-60mph: 1.9 seconds
Just like Audi and related Porsche, Battistia by Automobili Pininfarina distributed a lot of drivetrains with Rimac Nevera.
This means that the output of 1,900 horsepower is similar through the all-wheel-drive system and 0-60mph sprint time is around 1.9 seconds.
Battista has the same highest impressive speed of 217mph, claimed ranges (maybe when pushed more calmly) with 280 miles, and can run from break to 186mph (300km / hour) in less than 12 seconds.
Production will begin immediately and will be limited to only 150 examples throughout the world.
Tesla model boxes
0-60mph: 1.99 seconds
Tesla model S has been the king of the speed since it arrived back in 2012, and the latest incarnation was really fast.
Although not available in the UK until the end of 2022, model boxes can be ordered in the US now. With more than 1,000 horsepower on the beat of the new Tri-motor DriveTrain, the model boxes have a time of 0-60mph which is claimed to be 1.99 seconds.
Obviously, this is very fast. But it was also misleading touch, because Tesla quoted acceleration time with one leg launch, so the stopwatch did not start until the car began to move and covered 12 inches. See more as 6-60mph.

Tesla model x boxes
0-60mph: 2.5 seconds
This is a story similar to Tesla Model X, which recently also received boxes and promises zero (ish) to 60mph 2.5 seconds.
Even if Tesla uses one-foot launch, it still means seven seats running to sixty as fast as the Formula One car.
As an indication of how fast the plaid upgrades make models X, the long-term range version includes 0-60 sprints in 3.8 seconds.
Lucid water.
0-60mph: 2.5 seconds
Other American electric car startups, Lucid finally revealed the first version of the car production, called air, at the end of 2020.
The rival with the Tesla model, clear air will be offered with up to 1,080 horsepower and 0-60mph time is only 2.5 seconds.
Lucid also claimed a quarter of a mile of 9.9 seconds at 144mph and, from a less powerful air version, EPA-estimated range 517 miles.
Perhaps the most rigid competition has not posed for the Tesla S model, Lucid air will mature in 2021 with prices ranging from $ 95,000 to $ 169,000.
Porsche Taycan Turbo S
0-62mph (100km / hour): 2.8 seconds
The most powerful version of the first Porsche All-Electric car has a time of 0-62mph (100km / hour) 2.8 seconds. But Porsche is famous for its conservative with its own leaders and some testers have seen Taycans reach 60mph in just 2.4 seconds.
Unusual, Taycan has a two-speed gearbox, where the first teeth are used when the slide control is activated to help the car run away from traffic jams as soon as possible.
Taycan then shifted to the second teeth, complete with a synthetic shifting voice from his speaker.

Lotus Evija.
0-60mph: Below 3.0 seconds
Flagship of a Realurgent Lotus is supported by investment from Geely, Evija is an electric hypercar with 1,972 horsepower.
Sent to the road through four electric motors, the output is in such a way that each wheel is stronger than the previous Lotus road.
Lotus has not committed for a special time 0-60mph first, instead said Evija would take less than three seconds. Given the vast strength, we suspect time will be much closer to two seconds from three.
What’s more impressive is the time of 0-186mph which is claimed to be nine seconds. Nine. It has the potential to be 25% faster than the Pininfarina Battista mentioned above, thanks to a smaller and lighter 70KWH battery pack.
Audi Hospital E-Tron GT
0-60mph: 3.0 seconds
Relatives near Porsch Taycan, Sister Company Audi said the E-Tron GT Hospital had a time of 0-60mph 3.0 seconds.
Not fast enough like Turbo Taycan, but we cannot imagine the Volkswagen group that allows Super Saloon Audi Electric faster than the Porsche with which he shares DriveTrain.
That said, it seems like Audi is playing performance statistics too, because some testers have seen 60mph from the E-Tron GT Hospital in less than 2.9 seconds. As usual, these numbers depend on tires, road surfaces and surrounding temperatures.
Rivian R1T.
0-60mph: 3.0 seconds
In the shift from supercar, we now have a R1T electric pickup truck from the US Startup Rivian.
It is displayed in a long way at Apple TV +, R1T will arrive with the buyer later in 2021, and promises 0-60mph 3.0seconds, thanks to quad-motor drivetrain and 800 horsepower.
Rivian plans to follow R1T with R1S, electric SUVs are built on the same platform and offer the level of straight line performance and the same off-road capabilities.
Tesla Model 3.
