The subsidiary Alphabet Waymo revealed a concept image showing the tremendous autonomous trucking hub that it built in the Dallas-sell the value of Texas. In addition to the architecture, the company also revealed some details on the planned installation, including it will extend nine acres and to accommodate hundreds of large trucks.
The new Texas-based hub will be part of Waymo via the Company’s autonomous trucking division. At an announcement of August 18, the company shared a simple architecture rendering of the planned installation, which shows an elegant post-modern office building with a row of truck berries behind it.
Waymo explains that its future trucking hub will be will serve as a center for main operations of the state of Texas, at least when it comes to commercial use with its partners. As such, this hub will be able to facilitate hundreds of large trucks used to transport goods.
The company explains that this concentrator will be able to respond to its need to tackle Texas over time and facilitate its potential need for more complex tests because the company works in the layout of fully autonomous services.
The next trucking center will also be useful for supporting these trucks at long-haul routes in the region, including trips to the company’s Phoenix in Arizona. Waymo did not show when he had anticipated the new opening of the operating center, although she noted that he is currently recruiting local talents to work at the location.
