Android Auto on phone screens is dead, long live Assistant Driving Mode

In addition to smartphones and smartwatches, the other official Incarnations of Android have been less coherent, including tablets. Android Auto and Android TV have undergone changes that completely change the game, for better or for worse. The story of Android Auto has been rather tumultuous, especially with the launch of an Android automotive different but associated. Now, things take another round with the removal of Android self-automatic for phone screens, forcing users to switch to Google’s driving mode.

Android Auto was a little late at the game compared to Apple’s carbilation and, without surprise, no car manufacturers did not want to support it immediately. As a stopgap measure for people with cars that do not support Android Auto, Google has created an application that has executed the user interface on a phone that would then be perched safely on the dashboard of a car. This Android auto application for telephone screens is supposed to serve its goal and Google wanted to retreat it immediately.

It had to arrive in 2019, but some insects delayed its final execution. It seems that Google is finally ready to pull the cap with the output of Android 12. It started notifying some users of this fact and directs their attention to its replacement, the Google assist manager mode.

In a way, this driving way experience is similar to that of the Android Auto for Phone Screens App proposed, allowing use without distraction of certain telephone applications while sailing on a road. However, in other ways, however, Google Assistant almost hinders the way, as if you want to start a road before you can arrive at this mode of driving. It was possible to start manually Android Auto for telephone screens via a shortcut of applications.

Google’s statement clarifies that nothing really changes for those who have cars directly supported Android Auto. Vehicles with Android automobile are also naturally unaffected. Those who do not have any disruptive change, but I hope Google will tackle complaints before Android 12 strikes the market.
